Alpena won a both ends of a doubleheader from Cadillac on Wednesday afternoon. In game one Alpena scored two runs in the bottom of the 6th. to erase a one run deficit. Logan Guthrie singled with one out was advanced to second by a sac bunt from Cam DeCaire and then scored on double from Bruz Copping. Copping scored the winning run when Lar MacArthur severed up, one of his three hits, a single to left center. Lucas Crosby pitched a complete game for the win. In game two Alpena won by a score of 10 to 0 in six innings. Cam DeCaire pitched 5 innings for the win and Chris DeRocher pitched one inning of relief. Bailey Marquardt and Logan Guthrie each had 3 hits and Noah Kent chipped in with two hits. Alpena's conference record in now 3 and 1 and overall 10 and 5.
