Six Wildcats Qualify for MHSAA Finals

MIDLAND, MI - The Alpena High School Track and Field teams will be well represented at the Division 1 Finals at East Kentwood on June 2. The Wildcats will have six representatives at the state finals after Regionals were held at Midland on May 18.
State Qualifiers:
- 3200 relay team of Aden Smith, Josh Smith, Aidan Day and Drew Seabase placed first with a time of 8:00.86
- Gabe Bullis took first in the pole vault with a height of 14-0
- Josh Smith took first in the 1600m with a time of 4:25.32
- Aden Smith placed first in the 3200 with a time of 9:39.31
- Faith Weide took first place in the shot put with a distance of 37-10.75
- Faith Weide took second place in the discus with a distance of 121-3
MHSAA Division 1 Track and Field Finals will be June 2 at East Kentwood High School
