Wildcats Finish 2nd in Tournament

ALPENA, MI - The Alpena JV Volleyball team finished 2nd in their own tournament on Friday at the newly remodeled Gillespie Gymnasium. The Wildcats opened the day by splitting with Cheboygan (25-22, 13-25) and then sweeping Inland Lakes (25-20, 25-20). The Wildcats earned the 2nd seed in bracket play after a split with Oscoda (25-21, 22-25). In the Semi-Finals, the Wildcats rallied after dropping the first game to Grayling by winning the next two. The Ramblers of Boyne City swept the Wildcats in the Championship Game. The Wildcats look for revenge on Tuesday when they travel to Boyne City.
