Boys Varsity Soccer vs. Central High School

Wildcats Lose: 0 - 2
The Boys Soccer team saw their season end despite playing a solid game vs the Trojans from Traverse City Central. The game remained tied with 25 minutes to go when TC Central capitalized on a defensive breakdown to take a 1-0 lead. The Wildcats valiantly tried to tie the game but the Trojans scored an insurance goal with about 5 minutes to play. TC Central then went on to defeat TC West 2-0 before being edged for the District Title by Midland Dow 1-0. The Boys finished their season at 10-12-1 and say goodbye to 7 seniors who played their finaal game as Wildcats. We wish you all the best in the future and look forward to next fall's edition of Varsity Boys soccer!

Wildcats Lose: 1 - 3
The Wildcats played a much better game last Thursdsay despite dropping a 3-1 decision to the Blue Devils from Gaylord. Alpena fell behind by 2 at the half and came out after intermission and cut the deficit to one goal 2 minutes into the 2nd stanza. The Wildcats nearly tied the game on numerous occasions but a late Gaylord goal sealed the deal for the Blue Devils. Alpena is now 6-4-1 and hosts Cadillac on Tuesday, travels to Petoskey on Thursday , and host the Huron Shores Invitational on Saturday.
