Soccer Begins District Play

The Boys soccer team struggled down the stretch run, finishing with a 10-11-1 overall mark and going 2-8-0 in BNC play, finishing in 5th place. However, every team in the state returns to 0-0 with the start of District play on Monday. All 128 D1 teams dream of District Titles and beyond . The Wildcats host TC Central on Tuesday at 6pm and would again host on Thursday against TC West if victorious. Come cheer on the boys and let's beat TC Central!
Day finishes 2nd in BNC soccer scoring

The Alpena boys soccer team and Coach Tim Storch would like to congratulate junior midfielder Aidan Day for finishing 2nd in BNC scoring this past fall. He was edged out of the top honor on the final day as a player from Gaylord recorded a goal while Aidan was shut out in our final game vs Petoskey. As such, the Gaylord player finished league play with 6 goals and 4 assists while Aidan had 6 goals and 3 assists in league play. Congratulations !
