Wildcats End Season with District Loss to Titans

TRAVERSE CITY, MI - The Alpena Girls Soccer team ended their season on Tuesday night with a 6-0 District Quarterfinal loss to BNC Champion Traverse City West.  Alpena could not overcome the 3-0 halftime deficit to the Titans.  The Wildcats finish the 2018 season with a 5-12-1 record.

Wildcats Get Six Different Scorers in Win over Oscoda

ALPENA, MI - The Alpena Girls Soccer team ended the Regular Season with a 6-0 non-league victory over Oscoda on Friday night.  Six different Wildcats scored as Anna Young, Sarah Campbell, Mollie Girard, Taylor Tolsdorf, Elizabeth Thomson, and Madyson Girard all got on the board.  Alpena finishes the Regular Season 5-11-1.

Wildcats play hard, lose to Petoskey

PETOSKEY, MI - The Alpena Girls Soccer team played hard throughout the contest but couldn't finish the job as they fell 4-2 to Petoskey on Tuesday night at Northmen Stadium.  Anna Young had a goal and an assist while Sarah Campbell added the other goal late in the 2nd half.  

Alpena (4-11-1, 0-8-1 BNC) host Oscoda on Friday at 4pm.

Wildcats send Seniors out with a win

ALPENA, MI - The Alpena Girls Soccer team honored their Seniors on Monday night and then defeated Cheboygan, 5-1, at Wildcat Stadium.  Anna Young had a pair of goals for the Wildcats.  Sarah Campbell, Kennedy Kaiser, and Kourtney Jones added goals for Alpena.

Wildcats, Blue Devils play to 0-0 draw

GAYLORD, MI - The Alpena Wildcats played perhaps their best defensive game in years by earning a 0-0 tie with the Gaylord Blue Devils on Tuesday evening.  The Wildcats kept the 2nd place team in the Big North Conference scoreless with solid defense, lead by Taylor Tolsdorf.

Wildcats finish 2nd in SSSCC

ALPENA, MI - The Alpena Soccer team hosted the Sunrise Side Soccer Cup Challenge (SSSCC) on Saturday at Wildcat Stadium.  The Wildcats went 1-1 after defeating Tawas, 6-0, in Game 1 before falling to Royal Oak Shrine Catholic, 5-0, in the second game.

Wildcats stumble at TC Central

TRAVERSE CITY, MI - The Alpena Wildcats Girls Soccer team struggled on the road against a very talented TC Central team and fell to 0-5 in the BNC with a 6-1 loss at Coast Guard Field on Thursday. The lone goal was scored by Anna Young with an assist to Taylor Tolsdorf.

Wildcats finish 2nd in Birch Run Tournament

BIRCH RUN, MI - The Alpena Wildcats Girls Soccer Team finished second in the Birch Run Tournament on Saturday. The Wildcats lost game one to Saginaw valley Lutheran 2-0, beat Gladwin 3-1, and lost in final 4-3 to host Birch Run. 

Wildcats shut-out by Vikings

ALPENA, MI - The Alpena Girls Soccer team let a close first half game get away from them as the four time defending BNC Champions shut out the Wildcats on their home field, 6-0, on Tuesday night.  Trailing only 1-0 at the Half, Alpena got sloppy as fatigue set in and Cadillac was able to blow open the contest.  Alpena (1-2, 0-2 BNC) host Petoskey on Thursday night at Wildcat Stadium.

Wildcats drop Big North Conference Opener

ALPENA, MI - The Alpena Girls Soccer team (1-1, 0-1 BNC) dropped their conference opener to the Gaylord Blue Devils, 5-2, on Thursday night at Wildcat Stadium. Madyson Girard and Mollie Girard scored for the Wildcats.  Alpena hosts Cadillac on May 1 at 7:00pm.

Wildcats open 2018 Season with a win

ALPENA, MI - The Alpena Varsity Soccer (1-0) team opened the 2028 season with a 2-1 victory over the Sault Area Blue Devils at Wildcat Stadium on Wednesday night. The Wildcats got goals from Anna Young and Kennedy Kaiser.
